Discipleship

We currently have two study tracks for Adults:

  • Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God by Henry Blackaby
  • Kingdom of the Cults: A study of world religions
These classes are offered on Sunday Nights from 6:00pm to 7:30pm

What is Discipleship?
Discipleship is Big, It is NOT a program, it is a lifelong process; It is NOT a workbook or video or certificate, It is a lifestyle; It is living each day as Christ would live it

No one comes into the body of Christ fully mature or ready to minister effectively. Discipleship is a Church Priority based on The Great Commission (Mt. 28:19-20)

Disciples Can and Should Grow Every disciple has unlimited potential for spiritual growth and life change.  “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”   2 Pet 1:3  (NIV)

John Ortberg has said, “If we are not transformed, we will settle for being informed or conformed.” Life-Changing Discipleship (is there any other kind?) doesn’t happen overnight or without some degree of discomfort. It is a lifelong journey taken one step at a time. 

Our Discipleship Ministry seeks to equip you through the practical teaching of God’s Word and the accountability of small groups in order for you to grow to maturity in Christ.
