First Baptist Nixa is a loving church that welcomes anyone and everyone from all walks of life. We want you to discover the joy we share when we come together to worship our Savior! If you're planning to visit us on a Sunday morning, let us answer a few common questions for you...
Dress comfortably. Whether that's jeans and a t-shirt or a suit and tie, a dress or a shirt and pants. The point is, we don't have a dress code. Most people dress casually. Just be you!
As you enter the building you'll receive a big smile from our greeters, along with a weekly bulletin. Our Sunday morning worship begins at 10:15am in the auditorium (our greeters will be happy to help guide you there). Please take the opportunity before the service starts to silence all cell phones or other electronic devices.
Near the beginning of the service, you will be welcomed by one of our pastors, but not singled-out in any way. Please give us the opportunity to know you better by filling out a guest card and dropping it in the offering plate during the service.
During the song service, you can worship and sing along by following the words on the screen. We strive to keep the mechanics of our service at a minimum so that you can focus your heart on the reason we're there - to worship.
After the music, you will hear a message from the Bible. We will take an offering before the service is over, but as our guest, please don't feel obligated to give, unless you feel led to. Simply drop your completed guest card in the offering plate as it passes. Our service is generally over by 11:45 am.
Yes. Our CONNECT groups start at 8:50am. Our greeters in the Welcome Center will be more than happy to help you find a CONNECT group that is appropriate for your age and where you're at in life. Click HERE to find out more about our CONNECT groups!
