What to expect

First Baptist Nixa is a loving church that welcomes anyone and everyone from all walks of life to come worship with us. We want you to discover the joy we share when we come together to worship our Savior! If you're planning to visit us on a Sunday morning, let us answer a few common questions you may have...

what should i wear

Dress comfortably. Whether that's jeans and a t-shirt or a suit and tie, a dress or a shirt and pants. The point is, we don't have a dress code. Most people dress casually. Just be you!

what's the service like

As you enter the building you'll receive a big smile from our greeters, along with a weekly bulletin. Be sure and stop by our Connect Desk for a special gift for first-time visitors.

Our Sunday morning worship begins at 10:15 a.m. in the auditorium (our greeters will be happy to help guide you there). Please take the opportunity before the service starts to silence all cell phones or other electronic devices.

Near the beginning of the service, you will be welcomed by one of our pastors, but we promise that you will not singled out in any way. We do ask that you give us the opportunity to know you better by filling out a guest card and dropping it in the offering plate during the service.

During the song service, you can worship and sing along by following the words on the screen. We strive to keep the mechanics of our service at a minimum so that you can focus your heart on the reason we're there - to worship.

After the music, you will hear a message from the Bible. We will take an offering before the service is over, but as our guest please do not feel obligated to give. Simply drop your completed guest card in the offering plate as it passes. Our service is generally over by 11:45 a.m.

do you have small groups
