A native of Neosho, MO, I graduated from high school in 2001, and attended Southwest Baptist University. I graduated from SBU in 2005 with a degree in mathematics. The summer after graduation I married the love of my life, Ashley, who is a high school English teacher. The Lord has blessed us with four beautiful children - Abby, Benjamin, Isaac, and Susanna. I attended Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN, graduating in 2008 with a Master of Divinity degree. I was the pastor of FBC Buffalo for five years before coming to First Baptist Nixa in January 2014. I am passionate about the gospel, the doctrines of grace and the great truths of the Reformation, expository preaching, and seeing the gospel made visible through the local church to the glory of Christ.
My wife, Beth, and I will celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary this year. We have three wonderful boys and are absolutely blessed to be part of the First Baptist Nixa family. I have been on staff here at FBCN now for over 20 years. I seek to be a resource and a help for all of our ministries and love it when people grow in their faith...we call it discipleship. I earned my Master's Degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business Admin. from Drury University. I love to spend time with family, go to movies, play golf or tennis, watch LSU and Chiefs football, and hike trails. If you have any questions about our church or your journey with the Lord I would be glad to help you any way that I can.
I graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 2000 with a bachelor of science in music. I also earned a Master of Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University in 2002. My wife and I recently had our first baby girl. We love spending time together in ministry as a family.
I have been at FBCN since September 2010 and I enjoy assisting the people who call or come in the church throughout the week. I am married to my loving husband, Danny, and we have 2 children who are married and they have blessed us with 4 grandsons. Some of my favorite things to do are spending time with the Lord each day, playing with my grandchildren, fellowshipping with family and friends, reading, listening to Bott radio, and watching a good movie. Please feel free to call or come by and visit FBCN when you have the opportunity!
