lead pastor                            Tim@fbcnixa.org

Originally from Neosho, MO, I graduated from high school in 2001, and attended Southwest Baptist University. I graduated from SBU in 2005 with a degree in mathematics. The summer after graduation I married the love of my life, Ashley, who is a high school English teacher in Marionville. The Lord has blessed us with four beautiful children - Abby, Benjamin, Isaac, and Susanna. I attended Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN, graduating in 2008 with an MDiv. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City. I was the pastor of FBC Buffalo for five years before coming to First Baptist Nixa in January 2014. I am passionate about the gospel, the doctrines of grace and the great truths of the Reformation, expository preaching, and seeing the gospel made visible through the local church to the glory of Christ.

My wife, Beth, and I will celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary this year. We have three wonderful boys and are absolutely blessed to be part of the FBCN family. I have been on staff here at FBCN now for over 20 years. I seek to be a resource and a help for all of our ministries and love it when people grow in their faith...we call it discipleship. I earned my Master's Degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business Admin. from Drury University. I love to spend time with family, go to movies, play golf or tennis, watch LSU and Chiefs football, and hike trails. If you have any questions about our church or your journey with the Lord I would be glad to help you any way that I can.
