At First Baptist Nixa, we are passionate about helping children become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. We believe this happens best through creative, fun, Christ-centered interactions with the living and abiding Word of God. That is why we offer a number of ministry opportunities each week for kids, including:
1stKids
Kids CONNECT Classes meet every Sunday at 9:00AM
PreK (0-5) meet downstairs in the PreK hallway
K-6th Grade meet upstairs in the 1stKids Wing
1stKids Live! is a drama-based ministry that follows our main character, Brock Kingston, as he navigates the challenges of life, faith, and his vibrant YouTube channel. His neighbor, Cassie, is always nearby to help him learn an important lesson from the Scriptures and Catechism.
1stKids Live meets on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of the month from 6:00PM-7:00PM (we do not meet in the summer).
Backyard Bulletin:
"The Amazing Bible Race" for grades 1st-4th Wednesdays @ 6:00PM (September -May)
Basecamp for grades 5th & 6th Wednesdays @ 6:00 pm (September - May)
Childcare is available for ages 0-5 during our worship services and discipleship classes.
